AirGap QR is a free tool that turns files and text into QR codes (or a self-contained link) so you can move them between your own devices without a server. We provide the software; we never receive, host, or process the content you transfer.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. QR transfer is inherently low-bandwidth and depends on your camera, screen and lighting; we don’t guarantee any particular speed, or that every transfer succeeds. To the maximum extent permitted by law, George Papasotiriou is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including lost or corrupted data. Always keep your own copy of anything important.
You are solely responsible for what you transfer and for having the right to share it. Because the content never passes through our systems, we have no ability to review, moderate, or remove it. You agree not to use AirGap QR to share malware, or any material that is illegal or that infringes others’ rights.
Optional password encryption uses AES-256. Its strength depends entirely on the password you choose and on you sharing it safely; if you lose the password, the data cannot be recovered. You’re responsible for keeping passwords and share links confidential.
There are no accounts. The core app is free. If paid features, donations, or a “Pro” tier are added in future, their terms will be described at the point of purchase.
AirGap QR and its branding belong to George Papasotiriou. It is built with the open-source libraries qrcode-generator (MIT) and jsQR (Apache-2.0), used under their licenses.
We may update the app or these terms at any time; continued use means you accept the changes. We may discontinue the service without notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece (European Union), without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
